The floating lamp has been designed to float in water (following the laws of buoyancy).

It is designed to hold about 2 tablespoons of oil and can run for about 5-7 hours.

When several of the floating Diyas are placed in a traditional Urli shaped bowl (which are manufactured here in various sizes and lovely colors, textures, motifs)with petals of flowers spread around them, it gives a magnificent aura and energy.

It’s very good to have an oil lit lamp floating in water from Vastu /feng-shui point of view, as it creates a balance among all the elements.
